JoJo Siwa’s look for the 2025 iHeartRadio Music Awards was anything but ordinary—it was a head-turning spectacle.
The 21-year-old former Dance Moms star is always reinventing her style, and her latest appearance signals yet another bold era. On March 17, the “Karma” singer stepped onto the red carpet in a custom long brunette wig, styled into a circular updo adorned with a pink bedazzled charm hanging at its center.
The elaborate headpiece featured two bejeweled curved pillars to support the towering structure, along with a dazzling array of gemstones.
A Last-Minute Statement Look
Speaking with iHeartRadio on the preshow red carpet, Siwa revealed she found the extravagant wig on Etsy just two days before the event, scrambling for a statement piece. She also admitted she wanted something just as dramatic as her KISS-resembling costume from last year’s show.
Her outfit included a shimmering denim set paired with a pink Versace bra and underwear, which she proudly shared she picked up at an outlet. The sparkle didn’t stop there—Siwa’s makeup featured pastel gemstones intricately arranged across her eyes and forehead, adding to her signature glam.
A New Era for JoJo’s Music
When asked if her bold aesthetic was a clue about her upcoming music, Siwa confirmed it was. “After nine years, I’m finally in the driver’s seat completely,” she shared.
“Now, instead of being told what songs to release or what moves to make, I get to decide. Over the last few years, I realized I’m not bulletproof, so I’m excited to take music in that direction and have some fun.”
On January 1, Siwa dropped the music video for her latest single, Choose Ur Fighter, featuring a high-energy, video-game-style battle against six fictional exes in an outdoor arena.
