Ghajini director AR Murugadoss has shared an exciting update about the highly anticipated sequel to the 2008 blockbuster.
In an interview with Bollywood Hungama, Murugadoss revealed that while a sequel is being considered, the team is currently occupied with other projects.
“We have some ideas. Right now, we all are busy with our respective projects. Once we get time, we will sit and discuss,” he said.
Speculation about Ghajini 2 gained traction after producer Allu Aravind expressed interest in continuing the franchise.
“Their focus is to ensure it’s an organic sequel and not just a commercial venture. They like the concept but are awaiting narrations at various stages of development. The scripting is in progress, and by mid-2025, we should have a clearer picture of Ghajini 2’s future,” a source told PinkVilla in 2024.
