A tragic high-speed crash on Cleveland’s West Side early Wednesday morning claimed the lives of four teenagers.
The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner identified the victims as:
- Caurie Williams, 19
- Kalise McGee, 14
- Tamera Davis, 14
- Eddy Deandre Bonner, 18 (Driver)
The accident occurred around 12:45 a.m. in the 2000 block of W. 106th Street. Neighbors, alarmed by the impact, called 911 after discovering the devastating scene.
Stolen Vehicle Involved
According to Cleveland Police Chief Dorothy Annie Todd, the teenagers were in a Hyundai Sonata stolen on Feb. 27 from Wichita Avenue. City cameras captured the car being driven around various areas Tuesday evening before the crash.
Bonner was heading northbound on W. 106th Street when he lost control, veered off the road, and slammed into two trees.
Impact Caught on Video
A neighbor shared footage with 19 News showing the car speeding moments before the crash. Cleveland EMS described the vehicle as “obliterated.”
The three passengers were ejected, while the driver remained inside the wrecked car. There were no survivors.
